Julia Silverman

Julia Silverman is a dedicated professional with a diverse educational background and experience in the field of art history and curation.

She holds an AB in Art History from the University of Chicago, an MA in History of Art from Williams College, and a PhD in History of Art & Architecture from Harvard University.

During her academic journey, Julia has engaged in different roles, including being a Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at Harvard University.

She has also held prestigious positions such as the Center for American Art Silver Fellow at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and a Curatorial Intern at the National Gallery of Art under the Joseph F. McCrindle Foundation.

Julia's passion for art and conservation led her to be a Judith M. Lenett Fellow at the Williamstown Art Conservation Center and a Research Assistant at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute.

Her experiences extend beyond the academic realm to practical roles like being a Freelance Assistant at Artek USA and an Interim Office Manager at Riverdog Farm.

Additionally, she has showcased her writing skills as a Freelance Writer for various publications and served as a Docent at the Smart Museum of Art.
