Julia Schnetzer

Julia Schnetzer is an accomplished Marine Microbiologist with a solid academic background. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Microbiology from Jacobs University Bremen, a Master of Science (MSc) in Marine Microbiology from the University of Bremen, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from the University of Cologne.
Julia has gained valuable experience working in various prestigious organizations. She currently serves as a Project Manager at Konsortium Deutsche Meeresforschung E.V. Her previous roles include being a Research Fellow at MARUM - Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the University of Bremen, as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology. Julia has also worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist and Phd Student at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology. She has interned at the Smithsonian Institution and UC Merced.
