Julia Murphy

Julia Murphy is a young urban professional with a strong interest in pursuing a career in urban planning, particularly focusing on affordable housing, transportation, and environmental sustainability.

Her experience includes leading groups, managing projects, and developing analytical skills. Despite any gaps in experience, she shows a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to taking initiative.

Julia attended Berkeley High School and graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Religion, with a minor in Environmental Studies.

She has worked in various roles, including as a Housing Program Manager at Rebuilding Together NYC, Marketing Intern at Red Stone Equity Partners, LLC, Data Analysis Contractor at Influenster, and SolarCorps Outreach Fellow at GRID Alternatives.

Her experience also includes roles like Data Operations Assistant at Ever-Green Energy, Advertising Manager at The Oberlin Review, Outreach Intern at GRID Alternatives, and Tutor for Intermediate Macroeconomics at Oberlin College.

Additionally, she served as Oberlin Annual Fund Student Fundraising Assistant and was a Board Member and Vice-chair of Oberlin College's Green EDGE Fund.
