Julia Luongo is a highly educated and experienced engineer, consultant and director with a passion for developing innovative solutions for indoor and outdoor air quality management, climate science, and environmental policy. She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in air quality from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she also studied for her Master's and Bachelor's degrees. Julia currently manages an exceptional team at Ramboll Shair, a startup that provides a platform for air quality management, which aims to bring together stakeholders in the air quality ecosystem from communities and governments to traditional models and modern cloud infrastructure. She has extensive experience in project management, consulting and research, having worked as both a Senior Consultant and Managing Consultant at Ramboll, and a Ph.D. Candidate/Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. Julia's ultimate goal is to end the preventable impacts and inequalities of air pollution, bringing insight, innovation and positive intent together.
