Jukay Hsu is the co-founder and CEO of Pursuit, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create transformation where it's needed most. Pursuit's programs equip participants with software engineering skills, enabling them to get high-paying jobs and become leaders reflective of the diversity in society. By increasing participant incomes from $18,000 to $85,000, Pursuit aims to create systemic change.1
Hsu graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and later served as a U.S. Army officer, commanding a rifle platoon in Iraq and earning the Bronze Star Medal. He has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, joining a community of exceptional leaders under 40 who are driving positive change across various sectors.23
In addition to his work at Pursuit, Hsu serves as a Director of the New York City Water Board, Vice-Chair of Friends of the Brooklyn Queens Connector, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for New York City Foundation.1
