Juha Mikkola is a seasoned entrepreneur with two successful exits under his belt. He currently serves as a board member at Miami Angels and was the former chair of the Beacon Council Technology Committee.
As a co-founder of Wyncode, a prominent coding school in South Florida, Juha led the organization to win the Startup of the Year award from the South Florida Business Journal and the Education and Talent Development Award from the Beacon Council, with over 1000 graduates. The company was later acquired by BrainStation in January 2021.
With a background in Commerce and Marketing from the renowned Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Juha possesses a diverse skill set in sales, leadership, innovation, problem-solving, and communication. He has raised significant venture capital funding for his ventures and has been recognized as an Endeavor entrepreneur.
Juha Mikkola's academic journey includes studying Commerce, Marketing, Economics, and Political Science at the University of Toronto, completing web development training at Bitmaker Labs, and pursuing further education at USC Marshall School of Business and Wyncode Academy. He holds an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma from the International School of Helsinki.
Through various ventures, including Usko Health, BOXBOX Car Club, Usko Privacy, and Clutch Sports Co., Juha has demonstrated his entrepreneurial acumen and strategic leadership. He has also held significant roles in organizations such as Ontario Floorball/Unihockey Federation, Winscott Corporation, Spin Master Ltd., and The Canada Cup Floorball Championship.
