Judith Hanna

Judith Hanna is a seasoned government policy and international trade advisor with a strong background in stakeholder and client engagement.

Previously, she held the role of NZ lead trade negotiator at the WTO, bringing valuable experience in trade negotiations and agreements.

Passionate about digital transformation in the public sector, Judith focuses on educating regulators on the potential of cloud computing for innovation and economic growth.

With a keen interest in Japanese culture and language, she holds the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N2 certification.

Judith Hanna completed a Conjoint Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) with majors in Accounting, Commercial Law, Economics, and Political Science at The University of Auckland.

She also pursued a Certificate in Fashion Industry Essentials from Parsons School of Design - The New School, showcasing a diverse educational background.

Throughout her career, Judith has held various roles, including Public Policy Specialist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Executive Director at the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

Her experience includes diplomatic roles at the New Zealand Embassy in Japan and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, enhancing her expertise in international relations and trade.

Additionally, she worked as an Economic Researcher at The University of Auckland, showcasing her analytical skills and research capabilities.

Early in her career, Judith Hanna served as a Program Manager (Prince 2) at SENZ Training & Employment Services and gained experience as a Summer Intern and PWC Aspire Scholarship Winner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
