Jud Bowman

Jud Bowman is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully founded three companies: Motricity, Appia, and Sift Media.

He co-founded his first company, Motricity, while still in high school, contributing to its growth to over $100 million in annual revenue and 500 employees.

Motricity's platform facilitated the delivery of over $3 billion worth of ringtones and games to mobile phones, with a notable IPO and impressive market capitalization.

Following Motricity, Bowman founded Appia in 2008, securing $30 million in venture capital and enabling over 100 million app installs for various advertisers before its acquisition by Digital Turbine for approximately $100 million.

In 2015, Bowman founded Sift Media, focusing on advanced AI and machine learning to personalize app install ads, resulting in 250 billion mobile ads served and 100 million app installs for numerous clients.

Sift Media was recognized in prestigious industry listings like AppsFlyer Performance Index 14, Deloitte's 2021 Technology Fast 500, and the Inc. 5000.

Apart from his entrepreneurial ventures, Jud Bowman holds roles as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Research Triangle Foundation and as a Trustee of the North Carolina Symphony.
