Juanita Salas

Juanita Salas is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in both politics and education.

She studied Liberal Arts and Liberal Studies at San Diego State University and was also educated at Central Union High School.

Juanita Salas has held several notable positions including serving as the Chief of Staff for the Mayor Pro Tem.

Her experience includes being the California Political Director for Tom Steyer's 2020 campaign, a Board of Directors member at Imperial Irrigation District, and a Governing Board Member at Imperial Valley Community College.

She has also been involved with Mana, A National Latina Organization, at the Imperial Valley Chapter, and worked as a Senior Community Representative at the U.S. House of Representatives.
