Juan Noguera

Professor of Product Design at Maryland Institute College of Art. Industrial designer, RISD Grad. MIT Tech Review’s Innovator under 35 2017

Juan Noguera is a resourceful and driven designer with a keen interest in developing comprehensive design solutions across various media platforms.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Rafael Landívar and pursued his Master's degree in Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design.

Juan Noguera holds the esteemed title of a MIT Tech Review Innovator under 35 for the year 2017 in Latin America, showcasing his remarkable achievements and contributions to the field of design.

With a rich educational background and years of experience, Juan Noguera has held various significant roles in prestigious organizations. He currently serves as a Professor of Product Design at Maryland Institute College of Art, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to future design professionals.

Prior to this, he has worked as an Industrial Designer at Voxel8, focusing on Multi-Material Digital Manufacturing, illustrating his diverse skill set and adaptability within the design industry.

His leadership qualities are evident through his role as the Program Director of Product Design at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where he has contributed towards shaping the curriculum and guiding aspiring designers.

Juan Noguera's passion for design education and cross-cultural experiences is reflected in his past engagements as a Graduate student at Rhode Island School of Design, a Fulbright Scholar at Fulbright Association, and an Industrial Designer at Design without Borders.

He has also actively participated as an Organizer and Participant at International Development Design Summits, showcasing his commitment to driving positive change through design.

Additionally, Juan Noguera has served as a Faculty member at his alma mater, Universidad Rafael Landívar, further highlighting his dedication to nurturing young design talents.
