Founder and CTO of Grou, a sales platform for agricultural products, connecting farmers and consumers in Colombia. Grou provides real-time market information to farmers and security in their sales process. Buyers benefit from a shorter food supply chain, resulting in fresher products and lower prices. 

Achievements:
-Raised 190,000 USD though grants and equity to launch the business in Colombia.
-Grew the business 286% from 2017 to 2018, reaching 223MM COP in revenue and operational break even.
-Built an 8-person team to take care of fulfillment of transactions.
-Reduced waste and purchasing costs by 63% and 29% respectively, using technology to optimize key processes in the industry.

Responsibilities include:
-Select, design and develop the platform used to satisfy the needs of the two-sided network.
-Lead the digital transformation of informal processes in the transaction of agricultural products.
-Deploy the sales channels to connect the communities of Cundinamarca, Tolima and Antioquia with buyers in Bogotá.
-Manage the fulfillment of transactions, overseeing the produce, cash and information flows.
-Lead the financial reporting activities to keep investors informed.
-Control the budget and cash flow needs.
-Supervise the fulfillment of our tax responsibilities with Colombia’s authorities.
-Design the social media strategies to broaden Grou's reach, overseeing the deployment through a third party.
-Lead the HR function of the business by searching, interviewing and hiring candidates.
-Develop the incetives package for our employees, aligning Grou's goals with our team's performance.

Founder and Partner of an innovation consulting firm for young companies, focused on providing mentorship, creating workshops, and refining business plans. 

The list of mentored ventures includes:

-Culti, an online marketplace to connect farmers with idle farming equipment owners, looking to refine its customer discovery process.
-CrearSAS, a legal services company looking to innovate on the business structuring process through standard, online workflows.
-21 Korredores, a sports organization in need of a business plan definition to monetize their customer base through training, events and competitions.
-More than 30 fashion entrepreneurs in the FUCSIA-MinTIC program to scale their businesses.

Other responsibilities include:
-Presenting the social enterprise challenges at the 2018 Open Innovation Summit in Bogotá, Colombia.
-Leading the creation of a co-working space to help startups set up their businesses, connect with others to form partnerships, and share their experiences in our SimpleTalks (board meetings with their own peers).
