JR has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Throughout his career, he has worked at several renowned companies, including INCOG BioPharma Services, Genentech, Hospira, Piramal Pharma Solutions, and Cook Pharmica.

At Genentech, JR held the position of Head/Director, Technical and Validation Standards, where he was responsible for ensuring the compliance of the company with global regulations for drug substances and drug products. At Piramal Pharma Solutions, he was appointed Associate Director, Quality & Regulatory, where he led various facility projects, including FDA and MHRA inspection readiness, remediation, and regulatory approvals.

JR is currently the Senior Director of Quality at INCOG BioPharma Services, where he is in charge of a team responsible for the quality control of products throughout the entire manufacturing process.
