Joydita Sarkar

Joydita Sarkar is a User Experience Researcher with a diverse background, including experience in non-profits and as a solo researcher. They are proficient in various research methodologies, conducting group exercises, and writing interview/usability test scripts. Their skill set includes expertise in AdobeXD, Figma, EnjoyHQ, and other research and design software tools. Joydita's academic foundation lies in behavioral research, having attained a BA in Anthropology from Smith College. They furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching, focusing on Secondary Education and Teaching at Brandeis University.

In their professional journey, Joydita has held the role of Senior UX Researcher at Acquia. They have also worked as a UX Researcher at Davisware, Inc., served as a Contracted Research Assistant at CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology), and volunteered as a UX Researcher and Designer at Teachable Solutions, LLC. Prior to their roles in UX research, Joydita worked as a Middle School Math/Science Teacher at FA Day Middle School, a Communications Intern at Management Sciences for Health, and interned at the Smithsonian Institution Archives.
