Joy Shen-Bloomberg

Joy Shen-Bloomberg is a purpose-driven leader with a strong passion for education access and student outcomes.

She currently serves as the head of Strategy & Engagement at the Ravenswood City School District, focusing on ensuring effective and equitable service to the East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park communities.

In addition to her role in the school district, Joy is a board member of the East Palo Alto Kids Foundation (EPAK) which is dedicated to bridging the education equity gap through teacher-focused microgrants.

Joy's educational background includes an MBA/MA in Education from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Her professional experience spans management consulting, with a specialization in operations and growth strategy at Oliver Wyman in New York.

She also has experience in roles such as Assistant Director, Strategic Projects Coordinator, and Data Fellow at various educational and consulting organizations.
