Joy-Lynn Rhoton is a determined individual who sets high goals for herself and takes small steps to achieve them. With a passion for helping others and a social nature, she excels in various fields.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also pursued a Study Abroad program focusing on Environmental Science at the UNC Institute of Marine Sciences.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Research Technician at North Carolina State University, forest management intern at Duke University, Americorps Member at Conservation Trust for North Carolina, and service at Virginia State Parks.

Joy-Lynn Rhoton has also worked in environmental roles such as Environmental Assistant at Mecklenburg County Environmental Health Dept, Individual Research Internship at North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries, and Safety Intern at Shurtape Technologies, LLC.
