Joshua Marker

Joshua Marker is a technologist with a unique background in both linguistics and computer science. He completed his BA in Computer Science at Kalamazoo College before pursuing a PhD in Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. With over a decade of experience in engineering and technology leadership roles, Marker is currently the Senior Director of Engineering at UserTesting, where he previously worked as the Director of Engineering, Mobile Team Lead, and Staff Engineer.

Prior to his time at UserTesting, Marker held positions as Lead iOS Engineer at Flywheel Software, Database Consultant at The Human Creativity Project, Author, and Senior Developer at MedicalHost. He was also the Lead Engineer/Manager of Corporate Applications at PGP/Symantec.

Beyond his work in the technology industry, Marker has also served on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Institute of Possibility.

With his extensive experience in engineering and strong leadership skills, Joshua Marker brings a unique perspective to the world of technology.
