Joshua Levitt
PhD Student at Boston University
Joshua Levitt is a PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering department at Boston University. His research is conducted in the Lewis Lab, where he focuses on topics such as real-time processing of neurological data, cerebrospinal fluid dynamics, and their relationship to waste clearance mechanisms, aging, disease, and neurovascular coupling.123 He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University in 2019, where he worked on mathematical modeling of neurovascular coupling mechanisms and blood flow regulation in the brain.1
Joshua's broader academic interests include leveraging machine learning techniques to address challenges in neurological and biological research. He is also affiliated with the Neurophotonics Center at Boston University and has been involved in collaborative research as a visiting PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).23
