Joshua Lance is an American impressionist painter currently residing in Portugal. With a penchant for capturing the essence of his subjects in an emotional style, Joshua uses a selectively limited palette of eco-friendly oils to create a greater sense of color harmony. Joshua also enjoys teaching and has conducted several art workshops in the past. He believes strongly in passing on his knowledge to others and embraces his role as both advocate and teacher in his profession. He specializes in landscape painting, portrait commissions, murals, graphic design, and music CD covers.

With a BA in Art from Montclair State University and an AAS in Graphic Design/Illustration from Bucks County Community College, Joshua has worked with a variety of organizations and institutions, including Taipei Artist Village, Escola Inglesa, Check-In English School, EIEI, Andreeva Gallery, and Santa Fe. He has also participated in a range of art shows and competitions, including the Great American Muralist Competition, NYC Contemporary Art Show, and Go Fest! Art Show. Joshua's art is a celebration of compassion and creativity, and he loves nothing more than sharing the joy of the art life with others.
