Joshua Fingert

Joshua Fingert is a passionate developer with expertise in Node.js (Express, Hapi, Serverless Framework), microservice architecture, and API design & implementation. He is skilled in AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, Elasticsearch, EC2, S3, and CloudFront. Joshua has extensive experience with databases including Postgres, MySQL, NoSQL, RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora. His proficiency extends to testing using tools like Jest, Sinon, and Mocha, as well as continuous integration and deployment with Jenkins and CircleCI. Additionally, he is well-versed in authentication, React, Redux, and direct reporting. Joshua also has experience in mentoring junior developers, interns, and scoping technology stacks and budgets.

Joshua Fingert pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audio Engineering at The Evergreen State College. Additionally, he gained knowledge in Espresso Machine Repair and Rebuilding at La Marzocco and studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Having worked as a Senior Software Engineer at prominent companies such as EasyPost, Pura, AudioEye, Nike, and Cambia Health Solutions, Joshua Fingert has acquired a diverse range of experiences and skills. He has also volunteered for the Hour of Code program at New Avenues for Youth, contributed at Uncorked Studios, and started his career as an Engineering Intern at Smart Mocha.
