Joshua Baer
Austin-based entrepreneur and founder of Capital Factory, Joshua Baer, helps individuals transition from traditional employment to entrepreneurship. With a background in computer science and information decision systems from Carnegie Mellon University, Baer founded his first startup while still in college. In addition to running Capital Factory and its coworking community, Baer also teaches a course on entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Austin. An active member in the entrepreneurial community, Baer has sat on numerous boards, including those of WP Engine, Greenling Organic Delivery, and Texas Tribune, and was recognized as a Henry Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute.
