Josh Slater

Josh Slater is an accomplished engineering leader with a proven track record in building scalable organizations, teams, and IT systems to meet the demands of high-growth businesses.

He possesses a strong background in engineering people management, microservice-based enterprise architecture, systems and product engineering, scaled agile development, and technical product management.

Josh Slater's educational journey includes studies at Harvey Mudd College, where he honed his engineering skills, and pursued a Master's degree in Architecture-Based Enterprise System Engineering at UC San Diego, followed by another Masters's in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.

With a wealth of experience at Viasat Inc., Josh has held various key positions including Director of Systems & Architecture, Domain Lead & Enterprise Architect, System Engineering Manager, Product Owner for In-Flight Entertainment, as well as Principal Engineer and Development Manager.

Prior to his tenure at Viasat Inc., Josh Slater has also contributed his expertise as a Systems Engineer at CornerTurn, LLC, and gained valuable experience during a summer internship at ViaSat.
