Josh Shapiro

Josh Shapiro is a multi-talented professional actor, singer, bookwriter/lyricist, freelance writer, and youth theater teacher. Since 2005, he has been actively involved in the theater arts community, cementing his expertise and building an impressive portfolio. Born in Orange, Josh attended Orange High School and proceeded to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Muhlenberg College. He furthered his education by studying Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing at New York University, making him a true theatre arts powerhouse. Josh is a proud resident of New York and has been since 2013.

He has served as a former Assistant Director and Stage Manager at MAIN STREET THEATRE DANCE ALLIANCE, sharpening his organizational skills and diligence. As a professional Actor and Writer, he has amassed an extensive resume, showcasing his versatility as a performer and his sharp skill set as a writer. He has worked with several notable theatre outfits and has made a name for himself in the theater arts industry.

Josh is a dedicated youth theater teacher, sharing his expertise and passion with the next generation of creatives. His dedication to helping others and sharing his knowledge represents his commitment to the arts and serving the community.
