He is a highly experienced digital marketer with over 14 years of experience, having worked for multiple agencies and consulted across various verticals. Currently, he is serving as the Global Audience Data Strategy, Data Partnerships & MMM at BuzzFeed, where he manages the company's global audience data and partnerships. In his current role, he oversees all initiatives related to BuzzFeed’s global first-party audience data and usage. He is responsible for managing client and vendor relationships, ensuring global compliance with privacy and security regulations, providing advanced insights to internal teams, and deploying the technology stack.
Josh has also served as the Sr. Manager of Video Distribution Operations, Director, and Senior Director of Global Audience Data Strategy, Data Partnerships & MMM for BuzzFeed. Before joining BuzzFeed, he has built video product offerings and distribution methodologies. He has also created BuzzFeed’s pre-roll product.
Peters graduated with a Master Certificate in Internet Marketing from the University of San Francisco and has an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Casper College. He is among the first Social Media Marketing authors and is also associated with the Women Tech Council and Salt Lake City Social Media Club (SMCSLC), where he served as Social Marketing Committee & Blogger and Membership Director, respectively.
