Josh Nesbit

Josh Nesbit is the Chief Technology Officer for GirlTREK, a community-focused organization empowering Black women.

He serves as a Senior Advisor to the Community Health Acceleration Partnership and Technologist-in-Residence at Emerson Collective.

Josh is also a strategic technology advisor for Hope Credit Union, the largest Black-owned credit union in the US.

Previously, he was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Emerson Collective, exploring technology's role in community organizing.

As the CEO of Medic, a technology nonprofit, he led a global team to improve healthcare for millions in Africa and Asia.

Josh is recognized as an Ashoka Fellow, PopTech Social Innovation Fellow, and a Rainer Arnhold Fellow for his contributions to social entrepreneurship.

He has received several awards, including the Truman Award for Innovation and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award.

Josh's education background includes studying Human Biology at Stanford University, focusing on global health and bioethics.

His diverse experience includes serving on boards such as Developing Radio Partners and IntraHealth International, and being a contributor at PeaceTXT.
