He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, specializing in Athletics and Non-profit organizations from Old Dominion University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Connecticut.
Marriner has garnered extensive experience in player engagement roles within the NFL. Currently serving as the Director of Player Engagement at the Arizona Cardinals Football Club, he is responsible for enhancing the overall well-being and personal growth of the players. Prior to his current position, Marriner held various roles within the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, including Player Engagement Coordinator and Staff Assistant.
Beyond his work in the NFL, Marriner has also excelled in leadership development and academic advising. He served as the Leadership Development Coordinator at Grove Church VA, where he spearheaded programs aimed at fostering leadership skills among individuals. Additionally, he worked as a Student-Athlete Development Coordinator and Academic Advisor at Old Dominion University, providing guidance and support to student-athletes.
Marriner's versatile skill set extends to graphic design and marketing. He has experience as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant at Grove Church VA, where he contributed to the development of visual materials and marketing strategies.
