Joshua Hynes

Joshua Hynes is the Director of Product Design at Dialpad, a position he has held since May 2023. He is based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and has over 17 years of experience in design, with a focus on product design and user experience. Before becoming the Director, Hynes worked at Dialpad in various roles, including Senior Design Manager and Product Design Manager, where he led teams and collaborated with cross-functional partners to enhance product functionality and design processes.124

Hynes has a strong background in creating design systems, having developed two significant systems, Stacks and Dialtone, which are still in active use. His career also includes experience as a Senior Product Designer at Stack Overflow, where he contributed to user experience design for several years.125 He is passionate about simplifying complex user and business problems through intuitive design solutions and aims to elevate the design's influence within organizations.123
