Josh Geballe
Chief Operating Officer at State of Connecticut
Josh Geballe is a seasoned executive with a diverse background in both the public and private sectors. He is currently the Managing Director at Yale Ventures, a position he has held since 2022, where he leads efforts to support innovation and entrepreneurship within the Yale community and beyond.1 Geballe also serves on the boards of several organizations, including ClimateHaven, Connecticut Innovations, BioCT, and AdvanceCT.1
Previously, Geballe was the Chief Operating Officer for the State of Connecticut under Governor Ned Lamont. In this role, he played a significant part in managing state operations and initiatives.2 His career also includes leadership roles at Core Informatics as CEO, where he led the company through substantial growth until its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017.1 Before that, he held various finance and strategy positions at IBM from 2002 to 2012.1
