Josh Entsminger is an accomplished applied researcher in public policy and international affairs with a strong academic background and notable affiliations with prestigious organizations.
Currently pursuing a doctorate at UCL's Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, Josh's research focuses on the relationship between government innovation agencies and the directions of innovation and technological change.
His educational journey includes a Ph.D. in Innovation and Public Policy from UCL, a master's degree in International Relations from IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs, a PgCert in International Relations from The University of Edinburgh, and a bachelor's degree in International Studies, World Politics, and Policy from Virginia Tech.
Josh's professional experience includes roles such as Rising Leaders Fellow at Aspen Institute UK, Economics of Innovation Working Group Coordinator at Young Scholars Initiative, Visiting Fellow at Hult Futures Lab at Hult International Business School, Co-Founder at Net Positive Labs, Researcher at UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, and Advisor for Business Development at Fundie Ventures, among others.
Moreover, he has also held teaching positions as a Post-Graduate Teaching Assistant and Assistant Professor at UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, Teaching Fellow at Harvard Extension School, and Research Contributor at the World Economic Forum. He also served as the Madrid City Co-Director at NEXUS Global Summit.
