Josh Baquie

Josh Baquie is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in policing and operational roles. With over twenty years of experience in the Calgary Police Service, he has held various key positions in specialized units including the Calgary Criminal Intelligence Unit, Robbery, Anti Corruption, Guns and Gangs, and Homicide Units.

During his career, Josh has been actively involved in high-stakes operations such as transnational organized crime investigations, anti-corruption initiatives, drug enforcement, and homicide cases. He also collaborated on a Provincial Organized Crime Joint Task Force and Special Operations Team with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and regional municipal departments.

After retiring from the police service, he assumed the role of Interim Chief Operations Officer at NIHT Inc. in Papua New Guinea, and currently serves as the Chief of Operations at Alpha 6 Tactical Solutions. In these positions, he oversees international training programs and private security services.

Furthermore, Josh takes on the responsibilities of the CEO at Alpha 6 Canada, an organization dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of first responders and contributing to Canada's security sector. His educational background includes studies in Policing Intelligence and Counter Terrorism at Macquarie University.
