Joseph Tirone is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 35 years of successful experience in worldwide munitions, logistics, and explosive safety support to U.S., Allied, and Coalition partners.
He has demonstrated military and civilian leadership at various levels, including strategic, wholesale, and retail, with expertise in planning and execution, production, safety, crisis response, installation management, realignment, closure, and Continuous Process Improvement within the Department of Defense (DoD) strategic industrial base.
Joseph holds a top-secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and is Acquisition Level 1 certified. He is a Volunteer Director at Patriot Place Veterans Resource Center and received the WQPT Volunteer of the Year Award.
His educational background includes studying Masters in Strategic Studies (Muslim World Regional Studies) with Academic Distinction at the U.S. Air War College, a Masters in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelors in Science from the University of Wyoming.
Throughout his career, Joseph Tirone has held key positions in prestigious organizations such as SOCEUR at Special Operations Command Europe, U.S. European Command, U.S. Army Coalition Joint Task Force for Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), U.S. Army Technical Center for Explosive Safety (USATCES), Joint Munitions Command, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Blue Grass Army Depot, and various roles within the U.S. Army.
He is a UN Certified 'Expert' in International Ammunition Technical Guidelines, showcasing his expertise in the field.
