Joseph Mele

Joseph Mele is a well-rounded marketing professional who has held various positions in reputable companies throughout his career. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a bachelor's in business administration, specializing in marketing and finance. Mele also completed executive education at Columbia Business School's CMO Academy and specialized retail training from CannaReps in Cannabis.

Mele's career began at Kraft Foods Group, where he worked as a Financial Analyst, Associate Brand Manager, and eventually Senior Brand Manager. He then moved on to become the National Marketing Director for Andrew Peller Limited before becoming Brand Manager at SABMiller Canada.

Mele joined Starseed Medicinal Inc. as their Director of Marketing, followed by his position as Head of Marketing, Canada for Asahi Canada. His most recent position was as Head of Adult Use, and currently, he is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales & Marketing at WeedMD.
