Joseph Maguire

Joseph Maguire is a highly accomplished real estate developer with expertise in life science community building and management of architectural processes and development teams. He has a strong background in developing life science clusters, obtaining zoning entitlements, and leasing lab, office, and retail properties. With experience in managing portfolios exceeding 6 million square feet for both a publicly traded REIT and MIT, Joseph Maguire is a seasoned professional in asset management.

Joseph Maguire holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and has continued his education by obtaining the CCIM Designation from the CCIM Institute and completing studies at the Building Owners and Managers Association for R.P.A.

Throughout his career, Joseph Maguire has held various significant roles in well-known organizations. He currently serves as a Real Estate Consultant in his self-employed capacity. Previously, he worked at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., where he held positions such as Consultant, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development and Asset Services, Vice President of Development and Asset Services, and AVP of Development and Asset Services.

Joseph Maguire also contributed his expertise to the MIT Investment Management Company as the Director of Real Estate. Prior to that, he worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an Assistant Director of Real Estate. His professional journey includes serving as the Executive Director at Chelsea Neighborhood Housing Services.
