Joseph Laws

Joseph Laws is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the fields of economics, finance, law, and education.

He obtained a B.S in Economics, Finance, and Management from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, as well as a Juris Doctor in Law from Georgetown University Law Center.

Prior to his current role as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at AXA XL, a division of AXA, Joseph held key positions at other prominent organizations including Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, North America at XL Catlin, Corporate Associate at DLA Piper, Paul Hastings, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

In addition to his corporate roles, he also served as a Summer Associate and an Instructor of Social Studies at Wilson High School. Before transitioning to the corporate world, he gained valuable experience as an Assistant Fixed Income Trader/Portfolio Manager at Northern Trust Global Investments.
