Joseph Kao is an experienced technical leader with over 10 years of materials R&D and project management experience, specializing in functional polymer materials for next-gen consumer electronics.
He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. with Highest Honor in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Currently, Joseph serves as a Technical Program Manager at Meta, having previously held leadership positions at prestigious organizations like Apple, Carbon, and The Dow Chemical Company.
In addition to his professional endeavors, he is passionate about mentoring young professionals in their careers and volunteering for sustainability causes.
