Joseph J. Lam is a dedicated individual on a mission to help people connect deeply with their parents through various initiatives like Parents Are Human, The Parent Project, and Parents Are Gifts.
Apart from his work in bridging generational gaps, Joseph is a talented hand balancer, writer, and circus artist, actively training in hand balancing and chair balancing.
In his previous endeavors, Joseph founded an award-winning nutrition tech company, excelled in fencing with 8 U.S. national medals, and represented the country in 7 world cups.
Acknowledging the support of his parents and well-wishers, Joseph attributes his success to their constant encouragement and guidance.
As an entrepreneur, Joseph has been recognized by Inc. Magazine among the Global Top 50 Emerging Entrepreneurs and America's Top 30 Emerging Startups, and he is the recipient of the prestigious Frank Borchardt Prize.
Educationally, Joseph pursued a Bachelor of Arts with a self-designed major consisting of Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Entrepreneurship at Duke University.
Professionally, Joseph has held various roles such as CEO & Owner at Parents Are Human, Co-Founder at Parents Are Human, and positions in marketing, sales, and management at PlusPlus, LifeGyde, Brainbuild, Inc., and other organizations.
His diverse experiences also include being a Men's Foil Fencing Coach at the Beijing Olympic Village and co-founding a biotechnology company in Beijing.
