    Joseph Hwang is a highly experienced professional with a passion for building large-scale distributed systems. He has a diverse background working on various systems, ranging from network proxies to storage systems and generic resource isolation/management frameworks. Currently, Joseph holds the position of a founding engineer/Team Lead (TL) at Meta, where he is actively involved in developing a framework for multi-tenant resource isolation and management. In this role, he focuses on standardizing the implementation and semantics of these features across the entire organization.

    Joseph's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rice University. Prior to this, he completed his high school education at Valencia High School.

He has also completed various software engineering internships at well-known companies like ForeFlight, LLC, Meta, and Karmatech. Additionally, Joseph has served as a Project Lead at Engineers Without Borders USA and Teaching Coordinator at AID Summer.
