    Joseph Armstrong is a dedicated individual with a passion for robotics and STEM education. As a first-year student, he led a successful robotics competition between Ulster and Queens with the support of the IET.

    Joseph organized a robotics workshop at the Northern Ireland Science Festival, showcasing his commitment to engaging with younger students and promoting STEM fields.

    During his time at South Eastern Regional College, Joseph excelled in robotics competitions, winning the design award. He also attained notable achievements in technology and design, including receiving the technology and design shield in 5th year and achieving the highest GCSE grade in the subject.

    In addition to his academic pursuits, Joseph completed his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and demonstrated leadership skills by attaining the rank of Company Sergeant Major and the star level of master cadet within the army cadet force.

    Joseph Armstrong holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Ulster University and has gained professional experience as a Co-Op Engineer at Analog Devices. He has also contributed to the field of engineering through his role as Corporate Communications at the Ulster Society of Student Engineers (USSE) and his internship at Whale.
