Jose Viruet

Jose Viruet is a seasoned Project Manager with over 19 years of combined experience in the insurance and banking/financial sectors. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and Business, followed by another Bachelor's degree in Arts from Universidad De Puerto Rico.

Throughout his career, Jose has gained valuable expertise in managing projects varying in size and complexity, including application business hosting, data migration, and software development. Additionally, he has specialized knowledge in technologies such as Windows, Unix, Citrix, Cisco, Avaya, Websphere, Oracle, and SQL. He also excels in functional areas such as Project and Program Management, Process Improvement, Application Data Migration, Infrastructure Procurement and Delivery, Vendor Management, and Software Development.

During his tenure at Allstate Insurance, Jose held significant roles, including IT Network Professional-Network Operations, as well as IT Project Manager-Infrastructure Services, where he managed numerous infrastructure projects of varying sizes while also working with global teams. At Citi, he held the position of KYC IT Integration Program Manager for NAM & LATAM, where he demonstrated his ability to lead virtual teams globally.
