I lead client engineering for Cash App's Operating Systems org – supporting 70 engineers, and 20 engineering managers and tech leads. Cash App's OS Client org is globally distributed – with engineers across North America, and APAC.

Our engineering team builds product, platform & infrastructure supporting 57MM monthly actives across product verticals. Our teams are responsible for the health of the commons and the systems of Cash App's mobile codebases as well as the key launching surfaces for all products including Cash App's Money, Activity, Numpad (P2P), Discover / Search tab, Onboarding, Profile, Messaging/Notifications, and more.

Core Wellness is a meditation company that sells a hardware device + offers an app designed to help people meditate. The device is a round hardware bluetooth peripheral that users hold in their hands while meditating, it uses haptics to help guide the user in their mediation. The app is responsible for connecting to the device, configuring it and starting a meditation - this includes playing audio synchronized with the haptics happening on the peripheral, collecting statistics from the device and presenting them as health insights to the user at the end of their meditation.

When I joined in January, I was tasked with taking over the app and revamping it. This included transforming the app from a simpler, text-list driven app to a media rich experience with a modern design. 

- Oversaw the complete re-design of the app
- Rewrote the entire UI with both native UIKit elements and custom UI elements and animations
- Implemented a data persistence layer
- Implemented a "Content Store" - an area in the app where users can see all our meditation content and download new content to play locally
- Designed an entirely new Meditation experience, including the ability to modify complex device settings
- Rewrote the entire bluetooth communications layer
