Jose Minera

Jose Minera is an accomplished individual with a strong academic background. He studied at Escuela Moderna Americana, pursued a Master of Arts in Journalism from The University of Hong Kong, and delved into International Relations at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Professionally, Jose has been involved in various impactful roles. He notably contributed to Media and Foreign Policy Planning for the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico at Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México. Additionally, he served as Media and Public Affairs, Chief of Consular and Protection of Mexicans Abroad Sections at the Consulate General of Mexico in Hong Kong. Further, he held the position of Consul for Political, Economic, Press, and Cultural Affairs at the Consulate of Mexico in McAllen, Texas. Jose also has experience as the Consular Chief, Political, and Cultural Affairs Officer at the Embassy of Mexico in Trinidad and Tobago. Earlier in his career, he interned at the prestigious Council on Foreign Relations and served as a Production Coordinator and Assistant to the Editorial Director at Foreign Affairs en Español magazine.
