Joris Poelmans

Joris Poelmans is a highly accomplished solution architect in the Microsoft Business Applications Platform with over a decade of experience at RealDolmen, part of GFI Group. He has been recognized as a SharePoint Server MVP from 2005 to 2016, and his expertise stretches across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Big Data, and SharePoint.

Joris studied Economics at UHasselt and earned his Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Limerick. His experience includes roles such as Domain Manager of the Big Data team, Unit Manager of the SharePoint team, and Application Group Manager of the Microsoft Competence Center. Joris was also a board member of the BIWUG (Belux Information Worker User Group).

As a Technical Lead and Software Engineer at RealDolmen, Joris has established himself as a trusted and knowledgeable resource in Microsoft application development. Currently, as a Solution Architect, Joris provides his clients with consultation and design in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, while also driving SharePoint solutions forward.
