Jorge Galindo, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder at 47 Degrees, has a rich and diverse background in software engineering, web design, and product management. With an educational background in Informatica from Universidad de Cádiz and Universidad de Sevilla, he began his career in web design by founding Enter Web Design. Later, he worked as a software engineer at Trebol Soluciones Online before co-founding 47 Degrees, a highly successful consulting firm with 75 employees located across four offices and additional remote locations. Throughout his time at 47 Degrees, Jorge has taken on multiple responsibilities, from software development and user experience to product management and marketing. He is passionate about functional programming and organizes international conferences such as Lambda.World and LX Scala to spread the word about it. He frequently collaborates with universities and helps organize events such as Google Developers' Groups and Functional Programming Meetups in Spain, USA, and Portugal. Currently, he is co-organizing Scala Days Seattle 2021.
