Jorden Jones is a dedicated Secondary School Leader, committed to creating academically rigorous lesson plans to drive student success and fostering a welcoming and motivating learning environment that inspires students to pursue excellence.
Jorden completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and African and African American Studies at Duke University, and pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Jorden has studied at Georgetown University and Duke University, further enriching their educational background.
With a wealth of experience in the education sector, Jorden has held various leadership roles in different organizations. Jorden has served as the Senior Director of Academics at SEED Public Charter School of Washington DC, as an Instructional Coach at EdConnective, as the Manager for IMPACT Alignment at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), and as a Specialist at Insight Education Group, Inc. Furthermore, Jorden has filled roles such as Interim School Principal at Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, Principal at Great Oaks Charter Schools, and Dean of Curriculum/Instruction at Great Oaks Charter Schools. Jorden's teaching experience includes positions such as History Instructor, 8th Grade History Teacher at Democracy Prep Public Schools, and Composition Teacher at Teach For America/Boys' Latin Charter High School of Philadelphia.
