Jordan Parker

Jordan Parker, a Physics graduate from the University of Rochester, co-founded Lumatic (previously Omniar) focusing on city-scale augmented reality through 3D reconstruction. Accepted into the Techstars accelerator program in Boulder in 2010, Lumatic evolved to simplify city exploration.
In his role at Lumatic, Jordan serves as a developer, engineer, architect, technical lead, and sysadmin. Proficient in C++(11/14), Python, Linux internals, Debian-based distributions, and shell scripting, he also explores various programming languages and parallel computing techniques.
With expertise in geospatial tasks, graph theory, Unicode, OpenStreetMap, and cloud deployment, Jordan is passionate about cryptography, Bitcoin, and privacy-centric technologies. He has been Head of Engineering at PANTASTIC, a Software Engineer at Twitter, and engaged in research roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the University of Rochester.
