Jordan Kurland

Jordan Kurland is a prominent figure in the music management industry, serving as a founding partner at Brilliant Corners Artist Management. This organization, which has offices in major cities such as San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle, represents a diverse roster of artists, including well-known bands like Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, and Toro y Moi.12

In addition to his role at Brilliant Corners, Kurland is a partner in Noise Pop Industries, which is responsible for producing and promoting various music events in the Bay Area, including the Noise Pop festival and the now-defunct Treasure Island Music Festival, which ran from 2007 to 2018.12

Kurland is also actively involved in philanthropic and political initiatives. He served on the Entertainment Advisory Committees for both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's campaigns and has been instrumental in launching projects that raise funds for voter rights and reproductive rights, notably through digital music compilations that have collectively raised significant amounts for these causes.12

Moreover, Kurland has a background in arts advocacy, sitting on the boards of organizations such as the Stern Grove Festival and the independent publisher McSweeney's. He has also contributed to various artistic and social initiatives, including the "Future Soundtrack of America" compilation and the "30 Days, 30 Songs" campaign during the 2016 election.12

In his earlier career, Kurland founded Zeitgeist Artist Management in 1999, which continues to operate alongside his current endeavors.1
