Proposal: Pulsar Wind Nebulae Studies in the Gamma-Ray Era

Beginning in January of 2020, I will be working with leading experts in the high energy astrophysics field to characterize properties of gamma-ray emitting pulsar wind nebulae using telescopes including but not limited to: the Fermi-LAT, NuSTAR, XMM-Newton, and optical telescopes.

Predoctoral Fellow

I participated as a summer intern through the NSF funded REU program at the College of William and Mary. My position was one of two that worked independently with mentors at the NASA Langley Research Center. I worked in the nondestructive evaluation branch studying material characterization, particularly testing fabrication tools of surface acoustic wave devices as well as eddy current technology. Functionality of the devices fabricated were also researched.

Working part-time for the Radford University Physics Department. Duties include operation of the planetarium for various planetarium shows, setting up labs, assisting professors during labs, and completing tasks and projects requested by professors.
