Joost Visser
professional drummer / percussionist / composer / author of 360drumsbook (drum method book)
Joost Visser is a Dutch drummer, author, and music educator born in 1980 in the eastern part of the Netherlands.2 He began his musical journey as a snare drummer in a local drum band at the age of 7.2 Visser studied drums at ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle, Netherlands.3
In June 2017, Visser released his main two drum books: the "book of beats" and the "book of fills".1 These books form the core of his comprehensive drum method called "360DRUMSbook," which is designed to help drummers master their craft from beginner to advanced levels.1 The method focuses on three main skills: playing along with musicians, playing beats, and playing fills.1
