Joost Poort

Joost Poort is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in economics, philosophy, and physics. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Amsterdam, along with degrees in Philosophy and Physics from Utrecht University. Joost has been actively involved in various prestigious organizations where he has held key roles. Currently, he serves as Co Director at the Institute For Information Law (Ivir). His previous positions include Associate Professor, Independent Researcher, and Consultant at Ivir. Prior to these roles, he worked as a Senior Economic Researcher and Head of Section for Competition and Regulation at Seo Economic Research. Additionally, he has worked as a Senior Researcher at both Seo Economic Research and Nyfer Forum for Economic Research, and held the position of Editor at Epn Wolters Kluwer.
