Jonathon Irons is a versatile professional in the entertainment industry, with extensive experience in stop-motion animation and post-production for television and film. Jonathon has worked on Emmy and Annie award-winning stop-motion animation programs and has a broad range of knowledge in computer programming, automation, and hardware. Additionally, Jonathon was a former virtual reality arcade consultant and owner. He studied Film & New Media at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Film Production as a study abroad student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
Jonathon has been affiliated with several prominent organizations, such as Bitcrush.io, where he is the owner, and Redline VR, where he was a co-owner. He also held positions at Bix Pix Entertainment, Partos Company, Scrapbook Rehab, MirageQuest Media, Red Theater, and Gamers, where he worked as a technical director, executive assistant, web designer, animator/designer/editor, managing director, summer honors computer science professor, assistant manager, and freelance film crew designer, respectively. Additionally, Jonathon was a writer/actor/crew member at thirtysevenrobots, a comedy troupe.
