Jonathon Dore

Jonathon Dore is a purpose-driven technologist deeply involved in accelerating the energy transformation. With a strong background in data science and extensive expertise in solar energy, he has built a successful career across various domains including management, analytics, research and development, manufacturing, product development, and start-up environments. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Thin-Film Silicon Photovoltaics and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a specialization in Photovoltaics & Solar Energy, both from the University of New South Wales.

In his professional journey, Jonathon has held key roles such as Head Of Product Innovation and Head of Data Analytics and Data Strategy at Solar Analytics, demonstrating his leadership and strategic acumen in the renewable energy sector. Prior to this, he served as a PhD Student and later as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNSW Australia, consolidating his expertise in the academic and research realms.

With a solid foundation in academia and industry, Jonathon has also gained significant hands-on experience as a Process Development Engineer at reputable organizations like Suntech R&D Australia and CSG Solar AG. This diverse background has equipped him with a comprehensive skill set and a profound understanding of the technical and business aspects of the solar energy industry.
